Juicy Pan-Seared Chicken Breast (Basic Method)

Ingredients

  • 2–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional seasonings: garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season both sides.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook chicken 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Rest 5 minutes before slicing.

Oven-Baked Chicken Breast

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. Season chicken and place in a greased baking dish.
  3. Bake 20–25 minutes (depending on thickness).
  4. Rest before serving.
