Here’s a tasty recipe for Cheesy Parmesan Mozzarella Bites—crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside 🧀✨


Cheesy Parmesan Mozzarella Bites

Ingredients (makes ~20–24 bites)

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1–2 cups breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-seasoned)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheese bites
    • Mix mozzarella and Parmesan in a bowl.
    • Form small balls or bite-sized logs with the cheese.
  2. Coat the bites
    • Roll each cheese piece in flour, shaking off excess.
    • Dip in beaten eggs.
    • Coat with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Optional: repeat egg and breadcrumb coating for extra crunch.
  3. Cook the bites
    Option 1: Deep Fry

    • Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
    • Fry cheese bites 1–2 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

    Option 2: Oven-Bake

    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Place bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
    • Bake 8–10 minutes until golden. (Cheese may ooze slightly.)
  4. Serve
    • Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips & Variations

  • Spicy kick: Add ¼ tsp cayenne or chili powder to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Extra cheesy: Mix in a bit of cheddar or Monterey Jack with mozzarella.
  • Air fryer option: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes until golden.
  • Make ahead: Freeze coated bites before cooking; fry or bake directly from frozen.
