Here’s a simple, hearty breakfast roll recipe with turkey sausage, egg, and cheese—perfect for busy mornings or make-ahead breakfasts 🥐🍳


Breakfast Rolls with Turkey Sausage, Egg & Cheese

Makes 6–8 rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
    (or dinner roll dough / biscuit dough)
  • 6–8 turkey sausage links or patties
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp milk (optional, for fluffier eggs)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Colby-Jack, or mozzarella)
  • Optional: butter for brushing tops

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the turkey sausage
    Cook sausage in a skillet until fully done. Set aside.
  3. Scramble the eggs
    Whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble gently in a non-stick pan until just set (soft, not dry).
  4. Assemble the rolls
    • Unroll crescent dough triangles.
    • Place sausage near the wide end.
    • Add a spoonful of scrambled eggs.
    • Sprinkle with cheese.
    • Roll up tightly.
  5. Bake
    Place rolls seam-side down. Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm
    Brush tops with a little butter if desired.

  • Cool completely, then wrap individually
  • Refrigerate up to 3 days or freeze up to 2 months
  • Reheat in microwave (30–60 seconds) or oven
