Here’s a Big Mac Salad that tastes just like the classic burger—without the bun. Easy, quick, and great for meal prep!


🍔 Big Mac Salad Recipe

Ingredients

For the Salad

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 cups chopped lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional but tasty)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup diced pickles
  • ½ cup diced red or yellow onion
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

For the Big Mac Dressing

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tsp pickle relish
  • 1–2 tsp white vinegar
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt + pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Cook the Beef

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  3. Cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Let cool slightly so it doesn’t wilt the lettuce.

2. Build the Salad

  1. In a large bowl, layer: chopped lettuce → tomatoes → onions → pickles → cheese.
  2. Add the cooked beef on top.

3. Make the Dressing

  1. Whisk all dressing ingredients in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. Adjust acidity with extra vinegar if you want it tangier.

4. Serve

  • Drizzle dressing over the salad.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds for the full “Big Mac” vibe.
  • Toss and enjoy!
