🍌 Banana Bread Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas (very spotted = sweeter)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional but amazing)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional but recommended)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C.
    Grease or line an 8×8-inch pan.
  2. Mash bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix wet ingredients
    Stir in melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Add dry ingredients
    Mix in flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon.
    Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Bake
    Pour into pan and bake 25–30 minutes.
    Center should be set but still slightly soft for fudgy texture.
  6. Cool before cutting (hardest part).

✨ Optional Brownie Glaze (Game-Changer)

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla

Drizzle over cooled brownies.

OR melt ½ cup chocolate + 1 tbsp butter and spread on top for a richer finish.


Texture Tips

  • For fudgier brownies → bake slightly less.
  • For cakier banana bread vibe → bake full time.
  • Extra ripe bananas = deeper flavor.
