Baked potatoes with garlic and parsley

Baked potatoes with garlic and parsley are crispy on the outside, soft inside, and full of fresh herb flavor. 🥔🧄🌿


Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Potatoes

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F.
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes.
  3. Cut them into wedges or cubes.

2. Season

  1. In a bowl, mix potatoes with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Toss well so everything is coated.

3. Bake

  1. Spread potatoes on a baking tray in one layer.
  2. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through.
  3. Cook until golden and crispy.

4. Finish

  • Remove from oven and toss with fresh parsley.

Serving Ideas

These potatoes go well with:

  • grilled chicken 🍗
  • steak 🥩
  • fish 🐟
  • or as a snack with garlic sauce or ketchup.

For extra crispy potatoes, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 20 minutes, then dry before baking.
