Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries

Posted on January 13, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a recipe for Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries—crispy, flavorful, and way healthier than deep-fried fries, but just as addictive.

🥔 Baked Garlic Parmesan Fries

Ingredients

  • 3–4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional for color and flavor)
  • ¼–½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    • Preheat to 425°F (220°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prep Potatoes
    • Wash and cut potatoes into thin sticks (like fries).
    • Optional: soak in cold water 20 minutes to remove excess starch for crispier fries.
    • Drain and pat dry.
  3. Season
    • Toss fries with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
  4. Bake
    • Spread fries in a single layer on the baking sheet.
    • Bake 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
  5. Add Cheese
    • Sprinkle Parmesan over hot fries immediately after baking.
    • Toss gently to coat.
  6. Serve
    • Garnish with chopped parsley.
    • Serve hot with ketchup, garlic aioli, or ranch dip.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra crispy: Bake on a wire rack over the baking sheet so air circulates around the fries.
  • Spicy kick: Add a pinch of cayenne or chili powder.
  • Herb twist: Add rosemary, thyme, or Italian seasoning.
  • Cheesy overload: Mix in mozzarella for gooey, cheesy fries.
  • Air fryer version: Air-fry at 400°F for 15–18 minutes, shaking halfway.

I can also give a “loaded garlic parmesan fries” version with bacon bits, extra cheese, and a drizzle of garlic aioli that’s perfect for a snack or party.

Do you want me to do that?
