Baked cauliflower

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Baked Cauliflower — crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor.


🥦 Oven-Baked Cauliflower (Classic Roasted)

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked paprika is great)
  • ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Optional: ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • Optional: fresh parsley & lemon juice for finishing

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven

Preheat to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Season

In a large bowl, toss cauliflower with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
Make sure every piece is lightly coated.

3️⃣ Arrange

Spread florets in a single layer on the baking sheet.
(Important: Don’t overcrowd — this helps them roast instead of steam.)

4️⃣ Bake

Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and tender.

If using Parmesan, sprinkle during the last 5 minutes of baking.

5️⃣ Finish & Serve

Garnish with parsley and a squeeze of lemon for brightness.


🔥 Extra Crispy Tip

For deeper browning, switch to broil for the last 2–3 minutes — but watch carefully so it doesn’t burn.


🧀 Flavor Variations

  • Cheesy Cauliflower – Add mozzarella and broil until bubbly.
  • Buffalo Style – Toss roasted cauliflower in buffalo sauce and serve with ranch.
  • Curry Roasted – Add 1–2 tsp curry powder before baking.
  • Garlic Lemon Herb – Add lemon zest and fresh thyme after roasting.
