Ingredients (serves 4–6)

Beef Bites

  • 1½ lb beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into 1½-inch cubes
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 10–12 slices bacon, cut in half
  • Toothpicks (soaked in water)

Creamy Mustard Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise or sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Prep the beef

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  • Season beef cubes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2. Wrap with bacon

  • Wrap each beef cube with half a slice of bacon.
  • Secure with a toothpick.
  • Arrange seam-side down on a rack over a baking sheet (or in a baking dish).

3. Bake

  • Bake 18–22 minutes, until bacon is crisp and beef is cooked to your liking.
  • For extra crisp bacon, broil 1–2 minutes at the end (watch closely).

4. Make the sauce

  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon, whole-grain mustard, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Chill until ready to serve.

5. Serve

  • Serve beef bites hot with creamy mustard sauce on the side for dipping.

Tips & Variations

  • Air fryer: 390°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping once.
  • Spicy: Add cayenne or horseradish to the sauce.
  • Keto-friendly: Skip honey and use sour cream.
  • Sweet-savory: Brush bacon lightly with maple syrup before baking.
