Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole 🥓🍔🧀
It’s basically a deconstructed bacon cheeseburger in baked form—all the flavors you love, layered into a hearty, cheesy casserole. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

  • Optional extras: onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard, or even a breadcrumb topping

Easy Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole Recipe

Ingredients (serves 6–8)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cheddar soup (optional for creaminess)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups cooked pasta, tater tots, or hash browns (base)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: pickles, ketchup, or mustard for topping

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Cook bacon until crispy, crumble, and set aside
  3. Brown ground beef with onions; drain excess fat
  4. Mix beef, bacon, and cheese (reserve a little cheese for topping)
  5. In a bowl, whisk eggs and milk, season with salt and pepper
  6. Layer base (pasta, tots, or hash browns) in a greased casserole dish
  7. Spread meat mixture over the base, pour egg mixture on top, sprinkle reserved cheese
  8. Bake 30–40 minutes until set and golden on top
  9. Optional: drizzle ketchup or mustard before serving

Tips & Variations

  • Use turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter version
  • Add bell peppers, mushrooms, or jalapeños for extra flavor
  • Sprinkle crushed potato chips on top for a crunchy finish
