Here’s a super easy, 3-ingredient Homemade Crunch Bar recipe — tastes just like the Nestlé classic but even better. No baking, no fuss, perfectly crunchy and chocolatey!


🍫 Homemade Crunch Bars (3 Ingredients)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate chips
    (milk chocolate for classic flavor, semi-sweet for richer)
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, but makes the chocolate smoother and shinier)

Instructions

1. Melt the chocolate

  • Microwave chocolate chips (and coconut oil, if using) in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
    Or melt over a double boiler.

2. Add the crunch

  • Stir in the Rice Krispies until fully coated.

3. Shape the bars

  • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Pour mixture in and spread evenly.
  • Tap the pan to remove air pockets.

4. Chill

  • Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.
  • Cut into squares or bars.

  • Peanut butter crunch bars: Add 2 tbsp peanut butter to the melted chocolate.
  • Double chocolate: Mix in 1 tbsp cocoa powder before adding cereal.
  • Holiday version: Add crushed candy canes or Christmas sprinkles.
  • Healthier version: Use dark chocolate + puffed quinoa instead of Rice Krispies.

🎁 Storage

  • Store in the fridge for firm bars or room temp for softer, chewier bars.
  • Lasts up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
