Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Cheesy Garlic Bread—crispy, buttery, and loaded with gooey cheese. Perfect as a side or snack!


Cheesy Garlic Bread

Ingredients (serves 4–6):

  • 1 large French baguette or Italian bread loaf
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups (150 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional, adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Prepare the bread:
    • Slice the loaf in half lengthwise.
    • In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and salt (if using). Spread evenly over cut sides of the bread.
  3. Add cheese:
    • Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the buttered bread.
    • Top with Parmesan for extra flavor.
  4. Bake:
    • Place bread on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
    • For a golden-brown top, broil for 1–2 minutes (watch carefully to avoid burning).
  5. Garnish and serve:
    • Sprinkle chopped parsley on top for color and freshness.
    • Slice and serve warm.

💡 Tips:

  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the butter for a subtle kick.
  • For an even cheesier version, layer additional mozzarella halfway through baking.
  • You can also use garlic powder instead of fresh garlic for a milder flavor.
