🧀 Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (white, brown, or sourdough)
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese (or any melting cheese like mozzarella)
  • 1–2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Butter the bread
    Spread butter on one side of each slice (this will be the outer side).
  2. Assemble
    Place one slice (butter side down) on a pan, add cheese, then cover with the second slice (butter side up).
  3. Cook on low–medium heat
    Grill until golden brown (about 2–3 minutes), then flip.
  4. Flip & finish
    Cook the other side until crispy and the cheese melts perfectly.
