Cream Cheese Spaghetti

Cream Cheese Spaghetti is a quick, creamy pasta dish made with simple ingredients. It’s rich, comforting, and usually ready in about 20 minutes. 🍝🧀

Ingredients

  • 200–250 g spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • ½ cup milk (or pasta water)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: chili flakes, mushrooms, chicken, or spinach
  • Fresh parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
    Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Make the sauce
    In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add cream cheese
    Add the cream cheese and slowly pour in milk (or pasta water). Stir continuously until it melts into a smooth, creamy sauce.
  4. Season & add cheese
    Add salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan. Mix well.
  5. Combine pasta and sauce
    Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss until the pasta is fully coated. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more pasta water.
  6. Serve
    Top with extra Parmesan, chili flakes, or parsley.

Optional Variations

  • Chicken Cream Cheese Spaghetti – add grilled chicken pieces.
  • Garlic Mushroom Version – sauté mushrooms with garlic first.
  • Spicy Version – add chili flakes or green chilies. 🌶️
