Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Apple Pie Crescents—easy to make with minimal ingredients and perfect for a quick dessert:


Ingredients (makes 8 crescents)

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1–2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped into small pieces
  • 2–3 tbsp sugar (brown or white)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, to prevent browning)
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the apples:
    • In a bowl, mix chopped apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Prepare crescent dough:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Assemble crescents:
    • Place a spoonful of the apple mixture near the wide end of each triangle.
    • Roll from the wide end to the tip to form a crescent shape.
    • Place on the prepared baking sheet. Brush tops with melted butter.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve:
    • Optionally dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
