Here’s a classic no-bake peanut butter haystacks recipe—quick, easy, and kid-friendly 🥜🍫

No-Bake Peanut Butter Haystacks

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • Optional: ½ cup mini marshmallows, shredded coconut, or butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Melt the peanut butter and chocolate chips together in a microwave-safe bowl.
    • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth.
  2. Mix in the chow mein noodles (and any optional add-ins). Gently stir until coated.
  3. Scoop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper.
  4. Set by refrigerating for about 20–30 minutes, or until firm.
  5. Enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

Tips

  • For less sweetness, use dark chocolate.
  • If the mixture feels too thick, add a tablespoon of melted butter or coconut oil.
