Easy Pecan Pie Dump Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (about 15.25 oz)
  • 1 can (21 oz) pecan pie filling or dark corn syrup + 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan:
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer Ingredients:
    • Spread the pecan pie filling evenly in the bottom of the pan.
    • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the filling.
    • Pour melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  3. Bake:
    Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
  4. Cool & Serve:
    Let it cool for 10–15 minutes before serving. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.

  • You can stir in extra chopped pecans or chocolate chips into the cake mix for more texture and flavor.
  • No need to mix anything — the “dump” method makes it super easy.
