12-Spoon Cake – No Scale Needed – Easy Recipe

Posted on March 6, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple “12-Spoon Cake” recipe that doesn’t require a scale—perfect for quick baking using just a spoon as a measuring tool.

Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 12 tablespoons sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 12 tablespoons vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: cocoa powder, chocolate chips, or fruit for flavor

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a small cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until well combined.

3. Add Dry Ingredients

  • Stir in flour, sugar, and baking powder gradually.
  • If you like, fold in cocoa powder or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
  • Mix until smooth—do not overmix.

4. Bake

  • Pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5. Cool & Serve

  • Let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan.
  • Optional: dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate.

Tips

  • You can double the recipe by using 24 spoons of each ingredient for a larger cake.
  • Substitute milk with yogurt for a slightly tangy flavor and moist texture.
  • Add fruit pieces like berries or diced apples for variety.

💡 Why It Works: Using 12 spoons of each main ingredient keeps proportions balanced, so you don’t need a kitchen scale.

If you want, I can also make a 3-ingredient ultra-fast version of this 12-spoon cake that’s ready in 20 minutes. Do you want me to do that?
