Turkey breast

Here’s a simple and flavorful way to prepare Turkey Breast—juicy on the inside with a golden, seasoned crust:


Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 2–3 lb boneless turkey breast

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme or rosemary

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: 1/2 cup chicken broth (for basting or keeping moist)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:

    • 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the turkey:

    • Pat turkey breast dry with paper towels.

    • Rub olive oil or melted butter over the entire surface.

    • Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme/rosemary, salt, and pepper.

    • Rub the seasoning evenly over the turkey.

  3. Roast:

    • Place turkey breast on a roasting pan or baking dish.

    • Optional: pour chicken broth into the pan to keep it moist.

    • Roast 1–1.5 hours, depending on size, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  4. Rest:

    • Remove turkey from oven and cover loosely with foil.

    • Let rest 10–15 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.

  5. Serve:

    • Slice and serve with your favorite sides—mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or cranberry sauce.


💡 Tips:

  • Brining the turkey breast for 2–4 hours before cooking can make it extra juicy.

  • For extra flavor, add garlic cloves and fresh herbs under the skin before roasting.

  • Leftovers are perfect for sandwiches, salads, or soups.
