Here’s a simple and delicious way to make slow cooker potatoes—perfect as a side dish or even a comfort meal.


🥔 Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1.5–2 kg potatoes (baby potatoes or chopped large ones)
  • 3–4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried herbs (like thyme or oregano)
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the potatoes
    Wash and cut into bite-sized pieces (no need to peel unless you want to).
  2. Make the butter mix
    Melt butter and mix with garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs.
  3. Combine in slow cooker
    Toss potatoes with the butter mixture until well coated.
  4. Cook
    • Low: 6–7 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
      Stir once or twice if possible.
  5. Finish & serve
    Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

🔥 Optional Add-ins

  • Cheese (add in last 20–30 mins)
  • Chicken or beef cubes for a full meal
  • Cream for a richer texture

Tips

  • Don’t add too much liquid—potatoes release moisture on their own
  • For crispy edges, spread cooked potatoes on a tray and broil for 5–10 mins
