Slow Cooker Pork Chops (Tender & Juicy)

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (¾–1 inch thick)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for browning)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • ½ cup chicken broth or water

Instructions

  1. Season Pork Chops
    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Optional Browning (Recommended)
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high.
    • Sear pork chops 2 minutes per side for extra flavor.
  3. Assemble in Slow Cooker
    • Place pork chops in slow cooker.
    • Mix soup, onion soup mix, and broth.
    • Pour mixture over pork chops.
  4. Cook
    • Cover and cook:
      • LOW: 6–7 hours
      • HIGH: 3–4 hours
    • Pork should be very tender.
  5. Serve
    • Spoon gravy over pork chops.
    • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.

Tips & Variations

  • Thicker gravy: Stir 1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water into sauce during last 30 minutes on HIGH.
  • Creamy ranch style: Swap onion soup mix for ranch seasoning.
  • Mushroom lover: Add sliced mushrooms on top before cooking.
  • Veggie add-in: Toss in carrots or green beans for a full meal.
