Slow cooker pork chops

Ohhh good choice—slow cooker pork chops are cozy, low-effort magic 😌
Here’s a simple, juicy, no-fail recipe, plus a couple of easy swaps.


🐖 Slow Cooker Pork Chops (Tender + Saucy)

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (boneless or bone-in, about 1 inch thick)
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional but nice)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or water)
  • 1 small onion, sliced (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional, but 🔥)
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil (for searing, optional)

Optional but Recommended: Quick Sear

Sear the pork chops in a hot pan with oil for 1–2 minutes per side.
This adds flavor, but you can skip if you’re feeling lazy—no judgment.


Slow Cooker Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Layer onions in the bottom of the slow cooker (if using).
  3. Add pork chops.
  4. In a bowl, mix soup, broth, and Worcestershire.
  5. Pour over pork chops.
  6. Cover and cook:
    • LOW: 6–7 hours
    • HIGH: 3–4 hours

Pork should be fork-tender.


Want Thicker Gravy?

At the end:

  • Remove pork chops.
  • Whisk 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp cold water into the sauce.
  • Cook on HIGH for 10–15 minutes until thick.

Easy Variations

  • Creamy Ranch: Add 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • Mushroom Lover: Add sliced fresh mushrooms
  • Garlic Parmesan: Add ¼ cup grated parmesan + extra garlic
  • BBQ Style: Swap soup for 1 cup BBQ sauce + ½ cup broth

Serve With

  • Mashed potatoes 🥔
  • Rice
  • Egg noodles
  • Green beans or corn
