🥐 Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork sausage, hot or mild)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough (8-count each)
  • Optional:
    • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/4 tsp onion powder
    • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar (for extra richness)

Instructions

1. Cook the sausage

  • In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat.
  • Break it up into small crumbles as it cooks.
  • Drain excess grease.

2. Make the filling

  • In a bowl, mix cooked sausage with the softened cream cheese.
  • Add garlic/onion powder or cheddar if you want extra flavor.

3. Prepare the crescents

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.

4. Fill and roll

  • Place about 1 tablespoon of sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up tightly toward the point.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

5. Bake

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.

6. Serve

Serve warm — they’re best fresh, but still great at room temp.
