1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional, for a little tang)

Preheat oven:
Set to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. -
Prepare the puff pastry:

Roll out the puff pastry slightly on a floured surface to smooth the creases.

Sprinkle cheese evenly over the mustard (or plain pastry if you skipped it).

Layer slices of ham to cover the cheese.
