Pineapple Gelatin Dessert
Ingredients
- 1 (3 oz) package flavored gelatin (pineapple or lemon works well)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- Optional: whipped cream for topping
- Optional: maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin
- In a bowl, pour boiling water over gelatin powder. Stir until fully dissolved.
- Add cold water
- Stir in 1 cup cold water.
- Add pineapple
- Fold in drained crushed pineapple.
- Chill
- Pour mixture into a mold or serving dish.
- Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Serve
- Optionally top with whipped cream and a cherry.
- Slice or scoop as desired.
