Here’s a quick and easy Peach Dump Cake—sweet, fruity, and perfect for a simple dessert 🍑


Peach Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) sliced peaches in syrup, drained slightly
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15–18 oz)
  • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 350°F / 175°C. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer peaches: Spread the drained peaches evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix: Pour dry cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  4. Add nuts and cinnamon: Sprinkle nuts and cinnamon on top if using.
  5. Pour butter: Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Bake: 40–45 minutes until top is golden and edges are bubbly.
  7. Cool slightly: Let sit 10–15 minutes before serving.

Tips

  • For extra gooeyness, don’t drain all the syrup from the peaches.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a classic pairing.
  • Use fresh peaches in season; toss them with a little sugar and cornstarch to mimic canned texture.

Variations

  • Mixed berry dump cake: Replace peaches with mixed berries.
  • Apple cinnamon dump cake: Use sliced apples, cinnamon, and a touch of nutmeg.
  • Chocolate twist: Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top before baking.

This dessert is super easy, minimal prep, and always a crowd-pleaser—perfect for last-minute gatherings.
