Here’s a tasty and easy Parmesan Chicken Casserole recipe—crispy, cheesy, and perfect for a family dinner! 🍗🧀


🍗 Parmesan Chicken Casserole

Ingredients (serves 4–6)

  • 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded or cubed
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or macaroni)
  • 1 cup marinara or tomato sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1/2 cup breadcrumbs for topping
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix casserole
    • In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, pasta, marinara, sour cream, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
    • Stir until evenly mixed.
  3. Assemble
    • Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish.
    • Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella on top.
    • Optional: Mix breadcrumbs with remaining mozzarella and sprinkle over the top for extra crunch.
  4. Bake
    • Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  5. Serve
    • Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
    • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Tips

  • Use rotisserie chicken to make this faster.
  • You can swap marinara for Alfredo sauce for a creamy variation.
  • Add vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini for extra nutrition.
