- ¼ cup (60 ml) heavy cream

- 2 cups (12 oz / 340 g) milk chocolate chips
- ¼ cup (60 g) creamy peanut butter

- Prepare the pan:
- Line a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking pan with parchment paper or foil and lightly grease it.
- Bottom chocolate layer:
- Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together (microwave in 30-second bursts or melt on stovetop over low heat).
- Spread evenly in the pan and refrigerate until firm (about 20 minutes).
- Nougat layer:
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add sugar and evaporated milk; bring to a gentle boil.
