Ingredients (makes ~20 truffles)
- 8 oz white chocolate, finely chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1–2 tbsp fresh orange juice
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Optional coating: white chocolate, crushed vanilla wafers, or orange sanding sugar
Instructions
- Melt the white chocolate
Melt gently in the microwave (15–20 sec bursts) or over a double boiler. Let cool slightly. - Mix the filling
In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla until smooth. - Combine
Mix in the melted white chocolate until fully blended. - Chill
Refrigerate the mixture for 30–45 minutes, until firm enough to scoop. - Form truffles
Scoop and roll into small balls. Place on a lined tray. - Coat (optional)
Roll in crushed cookies or dip in melted white chocolate. - Set & serve
Chill another 15 minutes before serving.
