Posted on January 16, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a delicious, easy, no-bake Oatmeal Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Bar recipe 🍫🥜—chewy, chocolatey, and perfectly sweet without turning on the oven!

Ingredients (makes about 12 bars)

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats (or old-fashioned oats, lightly pulsed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter (for chocolate layer)

Instructions

1. Prepare pan

  • Line an 8×8-inch (or 9×9-inch) pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

2. Make the peanut butter oat base

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and 1 cup peanut butter together until smooth.
  • Stir in brown sugar and salt; cook 1–2 minutes until slightly bubbly.
  • Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  • Stir in oats until fully coated.

3. Press into pan

  • Pour the oat mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Press firmly into an even layer using a spatula or the back of a spoon.

4. Make the chocolate layer

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with 2 tbsp peanut butter in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  • Pour over the oat layer and spread evenly.

5. Chill

  • Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours, or until firm.

6. Slice and serve

  • Lift out using parchment overhang.
  • Cut into bars or squares.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week (or freeze for longer storage).

💡 Tips & Variations

  • Crunchy version: Add ½ cup chopped peanuts or rice krispies to the base.
  • Chocolate swap: Use milk chocolate or dark chocolate.
  • Nut-free option: Substitute sunflower seed butter for peanut butter.
  • Extra sweetness: Drizzle white chocolate on top for decoration.

If you want, I can give a microwave-only version that makes these bars in 10 minutes flat—perfect for a last-minute treat. Do you want me to do that?
