Million Dollar Spaghetti

Posted on November 10, 2025 by Admin

Million Dollar Spaghetti is a deliciously rich and cheesy baked pasta dish that’s often made with layers of pasta, cheese, marinara sauce, and ground beef or sausage. It’s called “Million Dollar” because it’s packed with flavor and can easily feed a crowd. It’s a great comfort food and perfect for potlucks, family dinners, or when you want to impress your guests with minimal effort!

Here’s a classic recipe for Million Dollar Spaghetti:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef (or sausage)
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 8 oz block cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
  3. Cook the ground beef (or sausage) in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat. Add the marinara sauce to the cooked meat and stir to combine. Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes. Set aside.
  4. Mix the cheeses:
    • In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until smooth and combined.
  5. Assemble the dish:
    • In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spread half of the cooked spaghetti evenly at the bottom.
    • Spread the cream cheese mixture over the spaghetti, smoothing it out to cover the pasta.
    • Top with the remaining spaghetti.
    • Pour the meat sauce evenly over the top.
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve hot, and enjoy!

Tips:

  • You can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter option.
  • Add some cooked veggies (like bell peppers or mushrooms) to the meat sauce for extra flavor.
  • If you want it extra cheesy, throw in some extra mozzarella!

It’s a super easy recipe and incredibly satisfying—perfect for when you need to feed a hungry crowd! Have you tried this dish before, or are you planning to make it?
