Instructions
1. Make the meat sauce
- In a large pan, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer 10–15 minutes.
2. Make the cheese mixture
In a bowl, combine:
- Ricotta
- Egg
- Parmesan
- A handful of mozzarella
- Optional herbs
Mix until smooth.
3. Cook the noodles (if not using no-boil)
Boil according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
4. Assemble
In a baking dish:
