Lamb

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh dill (optional)

For Serving

  • Warm pita bread
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced red onions
  • Lettuce (optional)
  • Crumbled feta (optional)

Make the lamb

  1. In a bowl, combine all lamb ingredients.
  2. Mix well until very smooth (this helps the gyro texture).
  3. Shape into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan or form into patties.

  5. Optional: Slice and pan-sear slices for crispy edges.

Make tzatziki
