Here’s a creamy, crowd-favorite Jarlsberg cheese dip—warm, melty, and perfect for parties 🧀✨


Warm Jarlsberg Cheese Dip

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups Jarlsberg cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1–2 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • Black pepper, to taste

Optional Add-Ins

  • 2 tbsp white wine or beer
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp crispy bacon, chopped
  • Fresh parsley or chives

Instructions

Oven Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, garlic, Dijon, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Fold in Jarlsberg and green onions.
  4. Transfer to a baking dish and bake 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden.
  5. Garnish and serve warm.

Slow Cooker Option

  • Combine all ingredients and heat on LOW for 1–1½ hours, stirring occasionally.

  • Crackers or crusty bread
  • Pretzels
  • Apple slices or pears
  • Warm pita or crostini

Tips

  • Shred cheese yourself for the smoothest melt.
  • For extra stretchiness, add ¼ cup mozzarella.
