Honey roasted pecans

Here’s a simple, crunchy, perfectly sweet Honey Roasted Pecans recipe — only a few ingredients and about 15 minutes of cooking time.


⭐ Honey Roasted Pecans

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 2–3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1–2 tbsp brown sugar (optional for extra caramelization)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • ⅛–¼ tsp salt (to taste)
  • Optional: a pinch of cayenne for sweet-heat

Instructions

1. Preheat

Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

2. Coat the pecans

In a bowl, mix:

  • Honey
  • Melted butter
  • Cinnamon (if using)
  • Salt
    Then toss in pecans until fully coated.

(If using brown sugar, sprinkle it on after spreading on the sheet — helps them caramelize.)

3. Bake

Spread pecans in a single layer and bake for 10–14 minutes, stirring halfway.

They should look glossy, lightly toasted, and smell amazing — but not burnt (pecans burn fast!).

4. Cool

Let them cool on the pan.
They’ll get crisp as they cool.


Flavor Variations

Sweet & Spicy

Add:

  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Pinch of cayenne

Maple Pecan

Replace honey with maple syrup.

Vanilla Cinnamon

Add ½ tsp vanilla + ½ tsp cinnamon.

Savory Twist

Add a pinch of smoked paprika + flaky salt.


Storage

  • Keep in an airtight container at room temp: 1–2 weeks
  • Freeze for longer storage: up to 2 months
