Here’s a quick, foolproof Honey Garlic Shrimp you can make in ~15 minutes.Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium if you can)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or rice vinegar
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional but recommended 👀)
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- Optional garnish: green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix the sauce
In a small bowl: honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and chili flakes. Set aside.- Cook the shrimp
Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Season shrimp lightly with salt & pepper, then cook 1–2 minutes per side until just pink.
Remove shrimp from the pan (important—don’t overcook).- Garlic moment
Lower heat to medium. Add garlic to the same pan and sauté ~30 seconds until fragrant.- Sauce it up
Pour in the honey sauce. Let it simmer 1–2 minutes until slightly thick.- Bring shrimp back
Add shrimp back in, toss to coat, cook another 30–60 seconds.- Finish & serve
Garnish if you’re feeling fancy. Serve immediately.Serve it with
