👻 Here’s a fun and festive recipe for Halloween Ghost Pizza — spooky, cheesy, and perfect for parties or family night!

🍕 Ingredients (makes 2 medium pizzas or 6 mini pizzas)

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

  • ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (plus extra slices for ghosts)

  • 6–8 slices of mozzarella or provolone cheese (for cutting ghost shapes)

  • Black olives or peppercorns (for ghost eyes)

  • Optional toppings: pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, or sausage

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).

  • Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

2. Shape the Dough

  • Roll out your pizza dough into a circle, rectangle, or even mini-pizzas.

  • Transfer to the prepared pan.

3. Add Sauce and Cheese

  • Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.

  • Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese (this will be the background for your ghosts).

4. Make the Cheese Ghosts

  • Use a ghost-shaped cookie cutter (or a knife) to cut ghost shapes from mozzarella or provolone slices.

  • Place the cheese ghosts on top of the pizza.

  • Add small pieces of black olives or peppercorns for eyes.

5. Bake

  • Bake for 10–14 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

  • Watch closely near the end so the white “ghosts” stay pale and spooky-looking!

6. Serve

  • Slice and serve warm. Perfect for Halloween dinner or spooky movie night!

💡 Tips

  • Mini Ghost Pizzas: Make personal-sized ones using English muffins or flatbreads.

  • Creepy Extras: Add pepperoni “jack-o’-lantern” faces or olive “spiders” for more Halloween fun.

  • Ghost Glow: Brush a little olive oil on the ghost cheese before baking for a shiny “ghostly” effect.

  • Kid-Friendly: Let kids make their own ghosts and decorate their pizzas!

🎃 Halloween Ghost Pizza is easy, festive, and guaranteed to disappear faster than a ghost at midnight!

Would you like me to give you a mummy pizza or jack-o’-lantern pizza version too for a full Halloween party platter?
