Here’s a simple, delicious egg sandwich recipe!

🥪 Classic Egg Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of bread (toasted or untoasted)
  • 1 tbsp butter or mayo
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Optional add-ins: cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, hot sauce, mustard, bacon/ham

Instructions

  1. Cook the eggs
    • Fried: Heat a little butter/oil in a pan, crack in the eggs, and cook to your preferred doneness.
    • Scrambled: Beat eggs with salt/pepper, cook in a buttered pan until soft and fluffy.
    • Boiled: Boil 8–10 minutes, peel, mash with mayo, salt, pepper.
  2. Prepare the bread
    Toast the slices if you like. Spread butter or mayo on one side of each piece.
  3. Assemble
    Place your cooked eggs on one slice, add cheese or toppings if desired, then top with the second slice of bread.
  4. Serve
    Slice in half and enjoy while warm!
