Crockpot Ravioli

Ah, crockpot ravioli—comfort food with almost zero effort! Here’s a simple, hearty recipe you can throw in your slow cooker:


Ingredients

  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce

  • 1 (16 oz) package frozen ravioli (cheese or meat)

  • 1/2 cup water or broth (optional, depending on sauce thickness)

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan

  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Layer the sauce: Pour half of the marinara sauce into the crockpot.

  2. Add ravioli: Place frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce.

  3. Season: Sprinkle Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using) over the ravioli.

  4. Add remaining sauce: Pour the rest of the sauce over the ravioli. Add water or broth if the sauce is very thick.

  5. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or on high for 1.5–2 hours, until ravioli is tender. Avoid stirring too much to prevent ravioli from sticking together.

  6. Add cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over the top during the last 10–15 minutes of cooking. Cover to let cheese melt.

  7. Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.


💡 Tips:

  • For extra flavor, brown some ground beef or sausage and layer it in with the sauce.

  • You can also toss in spinach or mushrooms during the last hour for a veggie boost.
