Here’s a crispy, gooey Mozzarella Cheese Roll-Ups recipe—perfect as an appetizer, snack, or party food 🧀✨


Crispy Mozzarella Cheese Roll-Ups

Ingredients (makes 10–12 roll-ups)

  • 10–12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • 10–12 egg roll wrappers (or thin spring-roll wrappers)
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs or panko
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Oil for frying

Optional

  • Marinara sauce or ranch for dipping
  • Parmesan cheese for extra flavor

Instructions

1. Prep

  • Freeze mozzarella sticks 30 minutes (very important—prevents leaks).

2. Assemble

  1. Place mozzarella stick at one corner of wrapper.
  2. Fold sides inward, then roll tightly.
  3. Seal edge with beaten egg.

3. Bread

  1. Dip roll-ups in egg.
  2. Roll in breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  3. Press gently to coat.

4. Fry

  • Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry in batches 2–3 minutes, turning until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towels.

5. Serve

  • Serve hot with marinara or ranch.

Baked Version (Healthier)

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Place roll-ups on a greased baking sheet.
  3. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
  4. Bake 12–15 minutes, turning once.

Air Fryer Version

  • Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 7–9 minutes, turning halfway.

Tips for Extra Crispiness

  • Double bread for thicker crunch.
  • Use panko for extra crisp texture.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan into breadcrumb mix.
