Creamy milk cake

Posted on November 6, 2025 by Admin

Creamy Milk Cake is a rich, indulgent dessert with a soft, velvety texture. It often combines the sweetness of condensed milk and the richness of cream into a spongy cake that’s incredibly moist. A popular dessert in many cultures, it’s a sweet treat that’s easy to make and perfect for special occasions or when you’re craving something comforting and decadent.

Here’s a recipe for a simple Creamy Milk Cake that’s smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious:

🍰 Creamy Milk Cake

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup sugar (you can adjust to your sweetness preference)
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup heavy cream

For the Creamy Milk Mixture:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • ½ cup whole milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour an 8×8-inch baking pan (or similar size).

2. Prepare the cake batter:

  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until pale and fluffy, about 3–4 minutes.
  • Stir in the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter until fully combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Finally, fold in the heavy cream until smooth.

3. Bake the cake:

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

4. Prepare the creamy milk mixture:

  • While the cake is baking, prepare the creamy milk mixture by combining the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, milk (or heavy cream), and vanilla extract in a bowl.
  • Stir until smooth and well-combined.

5. Soak the cake:

  • Once the cake has finished baking, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool slightly, about 10 minutes.
  • Once it’s cool enough to handle, use a skewer or fork to poke holes all over the cake.
  • Slowly pour the creamy milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes. Make sure the cake absorbs the milk mixture evenly.

6. Let the cake soak:

  • Let the cake sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the cake to fully soak in the creamy milk mixture.
  • For an even creamier texture, refrigerate the cake for 2–4 hours, or overnight. The longer it sits, the more the flavors will develop and the cake will become even more moist.

7. Serve:

  • Once the cake has soaked in all that creamy goodness, you can serve it as is or top it with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon or toasted coconut for extra flavor.

Tips & Variations:

  • Toppings: You can add a variety of toppings like chopped nuts, fresh fruit, or a drizzle of chocolate syrup or caramel sauce to enhance the flavor and presentation.
  • Flavor variations: If you want to add more flavor, try adding a bit of coconut extract or almond extract to the creamy milk mixture.
  • Make it festive: For holidays, you can top the cake with colorful sprinkles or even edible flowers to give it a fun touch.
  • Chill before serving: This cake is especially delicious when served chilled, so make it ahead of time for an even better texture and flavor.

This Creamy Milk Cake is an irresistibly soft, moist, and delicious dessert that’s perfect for those who love indulgent, milk-based treats. The cake soaks up all the creamy goodness and leaves you with a melt-in-your-mouth experience. It’s also a great make-ahead dessert since it improves with time!
