Cinnabon cinnamon roll cake

Here it is β€” the Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake everyone loves. It has that gooey cinnamon swirl, buttery richness, and a warm cream cheese glaze that tastes just like a Cinnabon cinnamon roll but in easy cake form!


🍰 Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Cake

Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • Optional: pinch of nutmeg

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Make the Cake Batter

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. Grease a 9Γ—13-inch baking pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.

2. Make the Cinnamon Swirl

In a separate bowl, combine:

  • Softened butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Flour
  • Cinnamon

Mix into a thick paste.


3. Assemble

  1. Pour cake batter into the pan.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture all over the top.
  3. Use a knife to swirl it deeply throughout the batter β€” think cinnamon roll spirals!

4. Bake

Bake for 32–38 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (it should still be a bit gooey in spots β€” that’s perfect).


5. Make the Glaze

Beat together:

  • Cream cheese
  • Powdered sugar
  • Vanilla
  • Enough milk for a pourable consistency
    (Thicker = frosting style, thinner = drizzle)

6. Glaze the Cake

Pour the warm glaze over the warm cake so it seeps into all the swirly cracks just like a Cinnabon.

  • Use real butter β€” no margarine β€” for true Cinnabon flavor.
