Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole

Posted on February 28, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a tasty and easy recipe for a Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole—a classic comfort food dish with tender chicken, creamy sauce, and fluffy biscuit topping.

Ingredients (serves 4–6)

For the filling:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, optional)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the topping:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (like flaky or buttermilk biscuits)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a large bowl, mix the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, frozen vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Add the Biscuit Topping:
    • Separate the biscuits and cut each into quarters (optional for “bubble” effect).
    • Arrange the biscuit pieces evenly over the chicken mixture.
    • Brush with melted butter if desired for extra golden color.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
    • The casserole should bubble slightly around the edges.
  5. Serve:
    • Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Perfect with a simple side salad.

💡 Tips:

  • Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • For a cheesy version, sprinkle shredded cheddar or mozzarella over the filling before adding the biscuits.
  • You can add herbs like thyme or parsley for extra flavor.

If you want, I can make a one-pot version with extra creamy sauce and faster prep, so it’s ready in under 40 minutes. Do you want me to do that?
