Cheesy garlic butter rollups

Posted on January 28, 2026 by Admin

Ah, cheesy garlic butter rollups — basically bite-sized, gooey, buttery clouds of happiness! Here’s a simple, foolproof recipe to make them:

Ingredients (makes about 8–10 rollups)

  • 1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (optional, if your butter isn’t salted)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the garlic butter:
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll and fill:
    • Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
    • Place a small handful of shredded cheese at the wider end of each triangle.
    • Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, forming little rolls.
  4. Brush with garlic butter:
Brush each roll generously with the garlic butter mixture. Reserve a little for after baking.
  5. Bake:
Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Finish with butter & parsley:
Remove from the oven and immediately brush with any leftover garlic butter. Sprinkle with parsley for a fresh, pretty touch.
  7. Serve warm — perfect with marinara sauce or just on their own.

💡 Tip: You can add extras inside before rolling—like pepperoni, cooked bacon bits, or a sprinkle of parmesan for an extra flavor punch.

If you want, I can give you a shortcut version that’s ready in 15 minutes, super gooey and ultra-cheesy — perfect for last-minute cravings. Do you want me to do that?
