Here’s a simple and delicious cheese-crusted fries recipe 🧀🍟


Ingredients (2–3 servings)

  • 3–4 medium potatoes, cut into fries (or 1 bag of frozen fries)
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • Optional toppings: chopped parsley, green onions, cooked bacon bits, or a drizzle of hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fries
    • If using fresh potatoes, preheat oven to 220 °C (425 °F).
    • Toss potato fries with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
    • Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake the fries
    • Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
  3. Add the cheese crust
    • Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the hot fries.
    • Return to oven for 3–5 minutes, until the cheese melts and forms a gooey crust.
  4. Optional finishing touches
    • Sprinkle with parsley or green onions.
    • Add bacon bits or a drizzle of sauce if desired.

💡 Tips

  • For extra crispiness, soak raw potato fries in water for 20–30 minutes before baking, then dry thoroughly.
  • You can broil for 1–2 minutes at the end to get a slightly golden, bubbly cheese crust.
