Instructions

  1. Cook Ground Beef
    • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Cook Onion & Garlic
    • Add diced onion to skillet. Sauté 3–4 minutes until translucent.
    • Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add Cabbage & Seasoning
    • Stir in shredded cabbage. Cook 5–7 minutes until cabbage starts to soften.
    • Add tomato paste (or diced tomatoes), paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Simmer
    • Cover skillet and cook 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
    • Optional: stir in Worcestershire or soy sauce for deeper flavor.
  5. Serve
    • Serve hot as-is, or with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
