Here’s an easy, rich Brownie Muffins recipe—crispy tops, fudgy centers 🧁🍫
Perfect when you want brownies and muffins in one bite.


Brownie Muffins

Ingredients (makes 10–12)

  • ½ cup (115 g) butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup chocolate chips or chunks (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line or grease a muffin tin.
  2. Melt butter and let cool slightly. Stir in sugar.
  3. Add eggs & vanilla, mixing until smooth and glossy.
  4. Mix dry ingredients
    In a separate bowl, whisk cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Combine
    Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips if using.
  6. Bake
    Divide batter evenly into muffin cups (about ¾ full).
    Bake 18–22 minutes, until tops are set and centers are still slightly fudgy.
  7. Cool
    Let cool 5–10 minutes before removing.

Tips for Perfect Brownie Muffins

  • For crackly tops, beat eggs and sugar well
  • For extra fudgy, slightly underbake
  • Add walnuts, pecans, or a cream cheese swirl
