Here’s the simplest way to make a perfect boiled egg every time 🥚


🥚 Boiled Egg (Quick Method)

Ingredients

  • 1–4 egg
  • Water (enough to cover)

Steps

  1. Add eggs to pot
    Place eggs in a single layer and cover with water (about 1 inch above).
  2. Bring to a boil
    Heat on medium-high until the water starts boiling.
  3. Cover & rest
    Turn off heat, cover with a lid, and let sit:

    • Soft-boiled: 6 minutes
    • Medium: 8 minutes
    • Hard-boiled: 10–12 minutes
  4. Cool down
    Put eggs in cold water for 5 minutes before peeling.

🧂 Tips

  • Add a pinch of salt or vinegar to prevent cracking
  • Don’t overcook—this avoids a green ring around the yolk
  • Peel under running water for easier shell removal

🍽️ Eat It With

  • Salt & black pepper
  • Toast or paratha
  • Salad or sandwiches
