Banana Split Fluff

Posted on November 11, 2025 by Admin

Ah, Banana Split Fluff—a no-bake, creamy dessert that tastes like a banana split in a bowl! Light, fluffy, and perfect for parties or potlucks. Here’s a classic recipe:

Banana Split Fluff

Ingredients (serves 6–8):

  • 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 (8 oz / 225 g) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 oz / 240 ml) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries or strawberry pie filling
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Chocolate syrup or hot fudge, for drizzling
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Make the cream base: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in whipped topping: Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and fluffy.
  3. Layer dessert: In a large serving bowl or individual cups:
    • Layer half the bananas on the bottom.
    • Spread half the cream mixture over the bananas.
    • Add half the pineapple and strawberries.
    • Repeat layers with remaining bananas, cream mixture, pineapple, and strawberries.
  4. Add toppings: Sprinkle with chopped nuts if using. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate at least 1–2 hours before serving to let flavors meld.

✅ Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add a little banana liqueur or a dash of rum extract to the cream mixture.
  • You can swap strawberries for any other berries, or add crushed pineapple on top for more texture.
  • Serve in a trifle dish for a beautiful presentation or in individual cups for easy portioning.

If you want, I can also give a “triple chocolate banana split fluff” version that incorporates chocolate pudding, chocolate chips, and a fudge drizzle for a decadent twist.

Do you want me to give that version?
