🍌 Banana Caramel Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
For the caramel sauce:

Instructions
1. Make the caramel sauce:

In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and water.

Heat over medium heat without stirring until it turns a deep amber color.

Remove from heat and carefully whisk in warm cream (it will bubble up).

Stir in butter and salt. Let it cool slightly.
2. Prepare the pudding:

In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, cornstarch, and egg yolks.

In a saucepan, heat milk and cream over medium heat until warm (not boiling).

Slowly pour a little warm milk into the egg mixture, whisking constantly (to temper the eggs).

Pour the mixture back into the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (5–7 minutes).

Remove from heat, stir in butter, vanilla, and mashed bananas.

Let it cool slightly, then fold in half of the caramel sauce.
3. Assemble:

Layer pudding, banana slices, and crushed wafers in serving dishes.

Drizzle remaining caramel sauce on top.
